PROVIDED SERVICESA HAPPY HEART provides Homemaker, Companion, and Personal Care, in addition to Respite Care, services to a broad spectrum of adults, both short-term and long-term, hourly and live-in (24 hrs per day/7 days per week).
Effective in-home Care begins with effective planning. Our agency focuses on ensuring that there is a specific, comprehensive Care Plan involving you, your family, other service providers, and our agency in a partnership that delivers the best service and Care – and in a timely manner. A free in-home assessment is conducted to understand the client’s needs and the home environment. We customize a detailed personal Care Plan and carefully match an appropriate Caregiver with the client.
Homemaker Services
- Concierge Services, including grocery shopping and errands;
- Light Housekeeping, including laundry services and linen change;
- Organization of the household; and
- Meal Preparation
- Reminders for Medication;
- Scheduling Medical and other necessary appointments;
- Companionship, conversation, and interactive activities/games;
- Assistance with eating and monitoring diet; and
- Supervision and escort services.
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and basic personal hygiene;
- Assisting with toileting - incontinence;
- Assistance with appropriate exercises;
- Transportation and standby assistance – medical appointments, etc;
- Alzheimer and Dementia Care; and
- Personal Mobility assistance*
- Round-the-Clock assistance, with total dedication to providing constant supervision and companionship; and
- Respite Care*
Cost structures vary, depending upon the type of Care Plan assignment, including 4-24 hour assistance (non live-in) versus 24-hour Care (live-in) versus 12-hour (sleepover) Care.
